About Stabilex
Josh Collins
After completing post-graduate studies at McGill in 2005, and having spent summers working alongside his father in renovation and construction, Josh began working for General Contractors in and around Montreal. By 2008 he was ready to launch his own company, J. Collins Construction. After working with Fred Renaud for almost a decade, they decided to form Stabilex, a company which would answer their clients’ needs for a more specialized construction firm.
Fréderic Renaud
Fréderic is originally from Saguenay and completed the carpentry course at the Montreal Construction Trades School in 2006. He has nearly 20 years of experience in different types of construction work. Always in solution mode, Fréderic is committed to customer satisfaction and smooth project management. Over the last 10 years, Fréderic worked for Josh Collins, where their common interests in structural work and their distinctive strengths have made them a dynamic duo. It was this combination that founded Stabilex, joining forces to offer a service that stands out from the competition.
Our Story
After many years performing the most complex construction tasks as a specialized division of a general contracting company, in order to grow and further develop the services offered, Stabilex was formed in 2023 by Fred Renaud and Josh Collins.
